1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using ChronoGrid, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game. “ChronoGrid,” “we,” and “us” refer to Eray Dinler, the game’s developer and publisher identified on its App Store or Google Play listing.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ChronoGrid for lawful, non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, subject to applicable store rules. The game is licensed, not sold.
3. Gameplay and availability
ChronoGrid includes AI play, Pass & Play, and platform duels. iOS platform duels use Apple Game Center. Android platform duels use Google Nearby Connections and require devices to remain within local radio range. Cross-platform and cross-App duels are not offered. Platform features may be unavailable because of device settings, connectivity, operating-system services, regional restrictions, or third-party changes.
Platform duels exchange only app-generated aliases and structured match information. ChronoGrid has no free-form player names, chat, voice, image sharing, public profile, or custom match server. Friendly duels are not intended for gambling, prizes, professional competition, or anti-cheat-sensitive rankings.
4. Advertising and purchases
The free version may display a home-screen banner and occasional ads after completed puzzles. Automatic and post-puzzle advertising never interrupts active play. In solo play, a player may explicitly request and voluntarily finish one rewarded ad to unlock one faint-letter hint for that puzzle. Closing or failing to complete the rewarded ad does not grant the hint. Advertising-based hints are not offered in platform or Pass & Play duels.
A one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase removes ChronoGrid advertising for the applicable platform account and provides the same optional solo hint without watching an ad. Every puzzle, era, and duel mode remains available without purchase; the purchase does not create a competitive advantage. Price, taxes, refunds, payment processing, family sharing, and restoration are governed by Apple or Google and applicable law.
iOS and Android purchases are separate unless the applicable store explicitly provides a shared entitlement. Use Restore Purchase in ChronoGrid with the corresponding store account when needed.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse ChronoGrid, attempt to disrupt another player’s device or platform service, reverse engineer the game except where law expressly permits, bypass purchase or advertising controls, automate abusive requests, interfere with platform matchmaking, or infringe another person’s rights.
6. Intellectual property
ChronoGrid’s software, artwork, interface, puzzle system, scoring system, text, brand, and other content are owned by or licensed to the publisher and protected by applicable laws. Familiar crossword concepts and third-party platform names remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
7. Third-party services
Apple, Google, and Netlify provide services used by ChronoGrid. Their separate terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages, account decisions, or policy changes beyond our reasonable control.

8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChronoGrid is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free puzzles, continuous matchmaking, or compatibility with every device. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from ChronoGrid. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for ChronoGrid during the preceding twelve months or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ChronoGrid at any time. We may suspend or end access to features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform requirements, or material breach of these terms. Store-managed purchase and refund rights remain subject to store rules and mandatory law.
11. Law and changes
Mandatory consumer protections in your country or region continue to apply. Otherwise, these terms are governed by the law applicable to the publisher identified on the store listing, without overriding non-waivable rights in your place of residence. We may revise these terms for legal, security, or product reasons and will update the date above.
